Img 1057Article 4: (implementation of the Convention) Governments must do all they can to make sure every child can enjoy their rights by creating systems and passing laws that promote and protect children’s rights.

Article 15 (freedom of association) Every child has the right to meet with other children and
to join groups and organisations, as long as this does not stop other people from enjoying
their rights.

Our school's Enrichment and Careers program, aligns with both Article 15 and Article 4 of the UNICEF Convention on the Rights of the Child. Article 15 grants children the right to freedom of association which GGS Enrichment program supports by offering students the chance to join a variety of clubs, groups, and activities based on their interests and goals. The Careers program, in particular, provides opportunities for students to explore different professions, engage with mentors, and participate in career development workshops, fostering their future aspirations.

At the same time, Article 4 emphasises the obligation of the government and institutions to implement all rights in the best interests of the child. Our school ensures that these opportunities are accessible to all students, promoting equality and non-discrimination. By providing a supportive and inclusive environment, the Careers program promotes both the freedom to associate and the responsibility of institutions to uphold the rights of all students, as outlined by UNICEF.
