We are excited about the positive impact Universal Secondary Free School Meals have on our school community. We are proud to be part of the Council’s effort to improve the life chances of young people in the borough by offering the Universal Free School Meals.
At George Green's School, we are committed to providing every student with the opportunities they need to achieve their full potential. We are aware that financial constraints can sometimes be a hindrance to this. Therefore, we offer the Pupil Premium, a government initiative designed to support students from lower-income families, that is also securing students' right to a free meal.
All students up to and including Year 11 at George Green's School have access to Universal Secondary Free School Meals, which means that every child will be able to have a balanced meal during the school day without cost to parents/carers. Only additional items purchased will need to be paid for.
We are pleased to offer Universal Free Meals to all our students, ensuring they are well-nourished and ready to learn. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to support their well-being and academic success.
Please ensure that you have applied for the Premium Premium scheme in order for to secure your child's privilege to a free meal. For more information on this please revert to our Pupil Premium and Catch Up Funding page.
Our lunch menus rotate on a three week cycle. When school reopens from holidays or half-terms , TIGGS menu resets to week 1. |
