Digital Education

At George Green’s School, we are committed to enhancing the educational experience of our students through the integration of digital education. We believe that technology plays a crucial role in preparing our students for the future. By utilising online platforms, we aim to create a flexible and engaging learning environment that extends beyond the traditional classroom.

In this digital age, the importance of online learning has become increasingly evident. Our school, plans to use various online platforms to facilitate home learning. This approach not only allows students to continue their studies effectively but also fosters essential skills such as self-discipline, time management, and independent learning.

One of the key tools we are implementing is Microsoft Teams. This versatile platform provides numerous opportunities for both students and teachers. Please see how we use MS Teams at George Green’s School:

  1. Classroom Collaboration: Students can collaborate on group projects and share ideas in real-time, fostering teamwork and communication skills.

  2. Resource Sharing: Teachers can easily distribute materials, assignments, and resources, ensuring all students have access to the necessary content for their studies.

  3. Feedback and Assessment: Teachers can provide instant feedback on assignments and assessments, helping students to understand their progress and areas for improvement.

  4. Personalised Learning: MS Teams allows for tailored learning experiences, enabling teachers to cater to the individual needs of their students.

We understand that access to technology is vital and, therefore, we are pleased to offer Chromebook devices to pupils who may require assistance in accessing online learning resources. These devices will ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed academically.
